Salman Khan Hates to Miss His Workout Session

Salman Khan, one of the most fittest stars in Bollywood, is going through a hectic schedule these days. His upcoming movie BODYGUARD is ready for release and he is busy promoting the movie at various locations. At the same time he is also shooting for YRF’s EK THA TIGER being directed by Kabir Khan. This leaves him no choice to workout.

Reportedly Salman has acquired a leaner body for the climax of BODYGUARD which he is planning to follow in EK THA TIGER too. But due to lack of time, he is finding it tough to do that.

A source reveals, Salman  does not believe in missing on his workout sessions. But with his blocked schedule the only time he finds from his hectic schedule is while traveling from promotional events of BODYGUARD to the sets of EK THA TIGER. The maverick actor sweats it out cycling from one location to the other while utilizing the only time he has for the exercise in the day.

Salman worked out aggressively to acquire a comparatively leaner look for the climax in Bodyguard and he plans to maintain it. Thus, his regular workouts cannot be missed out. Cycling for a few hours in the day has become an essential part of this Bodyguard’s routine and Salman is indeed paying good attention to his body.

BODYGUARD is Salman’s and Kareena’s upcoming Eid release. It will be the third Eid release of Salman after blockbusters like WANTED (2009) and DABANGG (2010).

Either Salman Khan or Akshay Kumar to do the remake of a yesteryear Kamal Hassan classic

If the reports are to be believed, then Ulaka Naayakan Kamal Hassan's 1990 hit Tamil comedy film 'Michael Madana Kama Rajan' is now all set to be remade into Bollywood. This Tamil film 'Michael Madana Kama Rajan' is a story about quadruplets - Michael, Madhana, Kama and Rajan and all were played by Kamal Haasan. The movie is directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao while Kamal had also written and produced it.

Priyadarshan, who himself is an expert in remaking films from South into Bollywood has always planned to remake this film in Hindi with his mentor Akshay Kumar playing all the four lead roles. Now it's also hearing that the lady director of Bollywood, Farah Khan also is planning the same, but the only change will be that instead of Akshay Kumar, it will be Salman Khan in the lead roles.

Both Priyadarshan and Farah Khan are trying their best to acquire the rights of this yesteryear Tamil film from it's producer, none other than the Kamal Hassan himself. Let's wait and see, among these two who will emerge as a winner and also for the new version of this popular comedy film with either Akshay Kumar or Salman Khan portraying all the four leading characters in this film.

 Though Salman Khan has come a long way since his days of Sooraj Barjatya’s family sagas Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Hum Saath Saath Hain, he hasn’t really forgotten his one-time best-friend with whom relations strained after the infamous ‘black-buck’ incident.

 A source tells, “At a time when producers were clamouring to sign Salman in action films, he chose to do a full-on family film, his first since Sooraj’s Hum Saath Saath Hain in 1999 because the script and characters of Ready reminded him of Sooraj’s joint-family films. Salman told the director Anees Bazmi that he wanted to make Sooraj proud.”

 Now the superstar Salman wants the super-director Sooraj of the most successful family film of all times to view Ready, which among friends, Salman describes as a tribute to Sooraj Barjatya.

 Bazmi says, “It’s true Ready is a modern rendition of Hum Aapke Hain Koun. Sooraj-ji is one of my all-time favourite directors. I’ve to confess I went to Salman with the subject of Ready in the hope that I could recreate some of the magic of Sooraj-ji's cinema. Salman immediately caught on. Like Sooraj-ji’s films, Ready is about a large joint-family with characters constantly bustling in and out of the household. The only difference is that the times have changed. Everyone in Sooraj-ji’s cinema was kind and well-meaning  and well-fed. The people in the joint-family in Ready reflect the morality and diet of our times.”

 Bazmi admits a screening of Ready for Sooraj is on the cards. “Sooraj-ji will recognize the same masoomiyat (innocence) and sharaarat in Salman in Ready that we saw in Hum Aapke Hain Kaun and Hum Saath Saath Hain. My film is a very small homage to Sooraj’s family values. As soon as we’re ready with Ready we’d like to screen our film for Soorajji.”

 Suggestions on how to improve the product are also welcome from Sooraj.
Salman, who has lately been hanging out with an entirely new coterie of friends, misses those quaint uncomplicated days of Sooraj’s cinema.
