Tamil Actors doing double role in coming movies

Here are some movies which we hear the lead stars are doing a double role.

Vikram – It is said the Vikram will be seen in dual roles in Thandavam. The film is to be directed by AL Vijay and it is an action entertainer with all the commercial elements.

Karthi – There is a talk that we will get to see two Karthis in Saguni. Directed by debut director Shankar Dayal, this film has Praneetha playing Karthi’s pair. Saguni is said to be a political thriller.

Surya – Rumors are strong that Suriya is doing a double role in Matraan, directed by KV Anand. The cinematographer-turned-director is directing this film with Kajal Agarwal playing Surya’s leading lady

While Karthi Sivakumar's wedding was held in a typical South Indian fashion, in the presence of film celebs and dear ones, the reception was a star-studded one at a leading hotel in Chennai.

The newly married couple Karthi - Ranjani received a surprise visitor at their home on Friday, and it was none other than Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, who had come all the way to greet the actor and his wife.

The AIADMK General Secretary, who was unable to make it to the wedding reception of Karthi on Thursday night, personally visited the Sivakumars on Friday, and conveyed her greetings and blessings to the just married.

The Chief Minister was accorded a warm reception by Sivakumar, wife Lakshmi, elder son Suriya, daughter-in-law Jyothika, and of course the young couple Karthi and Ranjini.

Chief Minister Jayalalithaa spent some time with Karthi and Ranjini before she left the place. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu Finance Minister O Panneerselvam and Agriculture Minister K A Sengottaiyan, both senior leaders of the AIADMK, also called on Karthi-Ranjini and greeted them. They were accompanied by film director R V Udhayakumar.

Tamil actor Karthi father Shiva Kumar broke the marriage news of his younger son. Karthi’s wedding is fixed with Ranjani, a graduate from Stella Maris,chennai in MA English Literature. She is a daughter of Erode Chinna Swamy and Jyothi Meenakshi.

The actor Karthi marriage announcement was made by his father Sivakumar, who said this through a press statement. Incidentally, Karthi is the younger brother of leading actor Suriya. The actor decided to get married when his career is almost at the peak. His latest film Siruthai, released in 2011 is going to be his greatest hit. Karthi is now working on his next film named Sakuni.

With actor Karthi marriage getting fixed, female fans will have to wait for the next eligible bachelor in Kollywood.
