Tamil Actors doing double role in coming movies

Here are some movies which we hear the lead stars are doing a double role.

Vikram – It is said the Vikram will be seen in dual roles in Thandavam. The film is to be directed by AL Vijay and it is an action entertainer with all the commercial elements.

Karthi – There is a talk that we will get to see two Karthis in Saguni. Directed by debut director Shankar Dayal, this film has Praneetha playing Karthi’s pair. Saguni is said to be a political thriller.

Surya – Rumors are strong that Suriya is doing a double role in Matraan, directed by KV Anand. The cinematographer-turned-director is directing this film with Kajal Agarwal playing Surya’s leading lady 

Ajith's next heroine is likely to be Anushka Shetty

Ajith's next heroine is likely to be Anushka who is on a high, post the rave reviews her performance in DTM received. The two are likely to do a film for Nagi Reddy's banner. Ajith will complete Billa 2 and Vishnuvardhan's next with AM Rathnam before turning his attention to this film.

Anushka will also complete Irandam Ulagam with Arya to be directed by Selvaraghavan and her pending Telugu projects before beginning work on this project. This film will be directed by Siruthai Siva and Yuvan Shankar Raja is likely to do the music.

Ajith new style and get up in Billa 2

These pictures give a clear definition that Ajith Kumar has started working down vigorously to shed more weight for ‘Billa-2’. With his 50th film ‘Mankatha’ getting close on the heels of completion, the actor has got his preparations commenced for the next movie. Obviously, the makers have decided to start the shooting of ‘Billa-2’ by this month and the actor has to look fit like a 20 year-old chap in Tuticorin.

‘Billa 2’ will have some prodigious technical aspects as it will be the first Indian movie to be shot with a different style of cinematography.

EndMankatha’s trailer will hit the theatres this Friday. According to Praveen editor of Mankatha, the trailer will be screened during the interval of Azhagar Saamiyin Kudirai. Mankatha trailer, sources say, has come out exceptionally well and the fans are also eager to catch a glimpse of it ever since the song trailer was released on May 1st 2011.

Yuvan Shankar Raja’s much awaited tracks of Ajith 50th film Mankatha are likely to be released by May end. Director Venkat Prabhu is already planning to release a single track album ‘Vilayaadu Mankatha’ next week.

Sony BMG has recently bagged the audio rights of Mankatha for a record price. This multi starrer has Trisha, Arjun, Andrea, Lakshmi Rai, Vaibhav, Premji, Mahanth and Ashwin in prominent roles. The film is expected to grace theatres in June.

This week turns out to be double special for the Mankatha team, as a single track is also due to be released. STR’s Vaanam also had a single track released before the audio launch and this turned out to be a huge success. Likewise, Mankatha’s single release is also expected to bring in the maximum publicity.
