CM Jayalalitha at Karthik and Ranjani wedding reception party

While Karthi Sivakumar's wedding was held in a typical South Indian fashion, in the presence of film celebs and dear ones, the reception was a star-studded one at a leading hotel in Chennai.

The newly married couple Karthi - Ranjani received a surprise visitor at their home on Friday, and it was none other than Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, who had come all the way to greet the actor and his wife.

The AIADMK General Secretary, who was unable to make it to the wedding reception of Karthi on Thursday night, personally visited the Sivakumars on Friday, and conveyed her greetings and blessings to the just married.

The Chief Minister was accorded a warm reception by Sivakumar, wife Lakshmi, elder son Suriya, daughter-in-law Jyothika, and of course the young couple Karthi and Ranjini.

Chief Minister Jayalalithaa spent some time with Karthi and Ranjini before she left the place. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu Finance Minister O Panneerselvam and Agriculture Minister K A Sengottaiyan, both senior leaders of the AIADMK, also called on Karthi-Ranjini and greeted them. They were accompanied by film director R V Udhayakumar.

House of Tamil Comedian Vadivelu attacked

SaligramamBy seeing continuous situations haunting ace comedian Vadivelu it looks like something similar to that of his characters which he played in films. In fact Vadivelu is receiving non-stop perils and end of public wrath ever since the poll results were out.

If recalled Vadivelu is the star of attraction during all the campaigns which were held by DMK and he has hit out Vijayakanth, DMDK leader with all cursing words.

Immediately after the poll results were out the comedian’s house at Saligramam was attacked. Now latest we hear is that his farmhouse near Padappai in the police limits of Manimangalam has been pelted with stones by a 30-member gang on Monday evening.

As per the Police sources it is known that a group of people have arrived to the farm house and started throwing stones at the farmhouse. The gang confessed that the comedian has built the farm house illegally by occupying the poromboke land.

Meanwhile, a complaint has been filed on behalf of Vadivelu with the Director General of Police. The complaint stated a demand against the gang who were threatening Vadivelu with terrible consequences.
