2013 Audi A3 e-Tron Crossover Electric Vehicle Price | Feature | Specification

2013 Audi A3 e-Tron Crossover Electric Vehicle
Even as Audi has just released sketches of how the 2012 Audi Q3 Crossover will look like, an electric version of the Audi A3 called the e-Tron is already under development. The Audi A3 e-Tron will be the first commercially produced electric vehicle from Audi and is scheduled to hit markets sometime in 2013.
The A3 e-Tron could feature a battery powered electric motor that churns out 130 Bhp of power and around 270 Nm of torque right from idle, as is the characteristics of electric motors. So, that should endow the A3 e-Tron with some blistering acceleration. But high performance means a rapid drain of the battery.
So, Audi might limit the top speed of the A3 e-Tron to 144 kph and it’s nought to hundred sprint time to 11 seconds in view of a decent range. Talking of which, the A3 e-Tron is touted to deliver a range about 144 kilometers of 90 miles on a single charge of it’s battery stack.
Coming to the Audi Q3, the car model in all likelihood will make it to Indian shores as Audi India needs the crossover to compete with the likes of the rapidly selling BMW X1. But, we are not so sure about the A3 e-Tron making it to India as electric vehicles are yet to find acceptance with Indians due to the initial high purchase costs.

Kawasaki Ninja 650R/ER6F Motorcycle launch in India | Specification and Features

2011 Kawasaki Ninja 650R/ER6F Motorcycle
Hyosung, better watch out. Bajaj Auto Limited is all set to bring the Kawasaki Ninja 650R to take on the Hyosung GT650R in the coming days. The Ninja 650R could be launched as soon as the next 2-3 months if the government clears the air on the CKD definition and the delay from Bajaj is due to the confusion prevailing over the CKD definition that is forcing them to adopt wait and watch policy.

Or so said Bajaj Auto Pesident, Mr Eric Vaz, when he was quizzed by the folks at Xbhp, during the track day organized by Bajaj Auto for all Ninja 250R owners last month. Coming to the CKD definition, the Indian government has indeed come out and issued a clarification regarding the same and hence Bajaj now will have the much needed clarity on the purported CKD definitional change so that it can go ahead and launch the Ninja 650R.

While Mr Vaz remained mm about the Ninja 650R’s price point, he reiterated that the motorcycle would be priced competitively in relation to it’s competitors. If that indeed does happen, a certain Hysoung GT650R might just feel some real heat as the Kawasaki Ninja 650R is a much more established motorcycle brand, which if priced well could make a massive dent on Hyosung sales due to the bigger distribution reach of Bajaj.
